STI’s? STD’s? What’s the difference?

Technically, sexually transmitted diseases (STD’s) are caused by sexually transmitted infections (STI’s), and they are only called “diseases” when they show symptoms. However, STI’s are often asymptomatic, meaning that no symptoms are present.
