PRODUCTS (all free for Mills students!)

Latex condoms

 The WHRC has Lifestyles, Durex, Trojan, and Proper Attire latex condoms. For those with latex allergies, Trojan polyurethane condoms are available.

 

Polyurethane condoms

 Polywhaaa? Trojan Supras are made of polyurethane, a type of plastic, and are perfect for those with latex allergies. They are just as effective in terms of protecting against pregnancy and infection, and have several advantages to latex condoms.  Polyurethane is very strong, so the condom can be made thinner, which gives the one wearing it more sensation.  They are not as sensitive to heat and UV rays, so they have less strict storage requirements than latex condoms and a longer shelf-life.  They are also safe to use with any kind of lubricant, including oil-based.

Lubricant

 The WHRC has two types of samples of Astroglide: 1) water-based, water-soluble, and 2) glycerin- and paraben-free lubricants.  Glycerin can cause problems for those who are prone to UTI’s and yeast infections, and paraben (a preservative) may lead to breast cancer, so the glycerin- and paraben-free lubricant is available for those who want it.

 

Dental dams

 

 This latex-free, polyurethane “Hot Dam” dental dam is 10″ by 6.” Dental dams are used for cunnilingus (oral sex) and analingus (rimming) to prevent the transmission of STI’s.

 

Pregnancy tests

The WHRC has pregnancy tests available.  For more information about how to properly use a pregnancy test, see the website link for pregnancy test info, or come into the WHRC to ask a counselor.

 

 

Tampons and Maxi Pads

  The WHRC’s got ‘em!  Come in if you need some.
